The Adventure Therapy Network is a group of people who work with, or are interested in, adventure therapy and who seek to promote adventurous activities or processes as a therapeutic method. The Network serves as a part of the Finnish Adventure Education Network. The Adventure Therapy Network was founded at the June 2017 event, Ulos – Ut – Out, and has organised several educational forums featuring high quality programmes on a voluntary basis. In August 2020, its Facebook page had 260 followers. The Network also actively builds connections with other adventure and outdoor therapy professionals in the Nordic countries, who established the Nordic Outdoor Therapy Network (NOTN) in 2017. The Finnish Adventure Therapy Network has representatives in NOTN and also in the Adventure Therapy International Committee (ATIC), which coordinates the triennial International Adventure Therapy Conference.

The Finnish Youth Centres Association (SNK ry) is a cooperative organisation of youth centres in Finland. There are eight youth centres which offer school camps, camps and other activities aimed at children and adolescents. Finnish youth centres are supervised and subsidised by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The development of SNK youth work is carried out in accordance with the Finnish Youth Act (Nuorisolaki) and the National Youth Work and Youth Policy Programme.
SNK also develops and coordinates the Finnish Adventure Education Network, which is a community of professional educators, researchers, students and other actors dedicated to adventure education. Most of the actors and organisations who practice adventure education or adventure therapy in Finland are involved in the activities of this community.
