Our main event, the National Adventure Education Conference, has taken place every year since 2007. It currently brings in around 170 attendees. The conference brings together all those interested in adventure education in Finland under one roof to discuss the field and generate new perspectives and working methods. The conference is also important, as there is a great deal of interaction and networking outside the official programme.
There are practical workshops and lectures at the conference lead by top experts in the field from Finland and sometimes abroad. The lecturers update attendees on the latest innovations, while giving the theoretical foundation to their work.
