An internationally-recognized adventure centre in Koillismaa
The stunning pine moors on the shore of Lake Elijärvi are home to the Oivanki Youth Centre, recipient of the internationally-recognized Avartti award for young people. Oivanki campgoers have the opportunity to roam the varied natural environs of Koillismaa on skis, canoe, snowshoe and foot. Hiking trails to the fells of Rukatunturi and the city of Kuusamo are also nearby.
